In Partnership With Desert Star Farm

A Family Farm,
Born From a Dream.

What started as a serene getaway for Scott Crumrine and his family grew into a working farm of citrus orchards, animals, and gardens. Today, that harvest goes back to the community as small-batch jams, hot sauces, BBQ sauces, and more.

Our Story

A CEO's Dream, A Family's Legacy

After Go-Staff's founder, Scott Crumrine, built a dedicated staffing agency, he had a dream of a serene family getaway. That dream became Desert Star: a farm filled with laughter, animals, and citrus orchards.

Today, Go-Staff and Desert Star embody both family values and community partnership. Working with local co-packers, the harvest becomes jams, jellies, hot sauces, and baked goods that go back to clients and communities.

We take pride in not only helping our community fill jobs, but also in cultivating a spirit of shared abundance. Welcome to a story where a CEO's dream blossomed into a legacy of family, growth, and giving back.

Our Land & Orchard

A Working Ecosystem

Our farm is a vibrant, working ecosystem where nature and agriculture thrive. We raise chickens, turkeys, peacocks, geese, ducks, quail, pheasants, goats, pigs, and burros. Beyond our animal family, we cultivate citrus from our orchards: lemon, orange, sweet lime, and pomegranate trees. Our gardens grow hot peppers, onions, asparagus, lettuce, and a rotating mix of fruits and vegetables.

Pomegranate and date orchards are the cornerstone of the farm, providing unique, high-quality ingredients for everything we create. The land, the animals, and the work all come together to produce the freshest, most flavorful offerings.
